Questions
Can I play now?
Yes. Join our test server, test.playstrawberry.net, with Minecraft Java Edition. Supporters create their own servers in early access.
What is early access?
Supporters can create their own Strawberry servers before everyone else. The public launch follows; our estimate is Q1 2027.
When do I get my rewards?
Your Berry Points are added to your account as soon as your payment is confirmed, and you can spend them when Berry Points open. Everything else comes when early access opens for supporters, before the public launch and at the latest on 31 March 2027. Your Creator months start that day; the badge and hats follow within 7 days.
When do you announce the date?
We collect support for two months and email you an early access update within 14 days after that. Early access and your Creator time are due by 31 March 2027 at the latest, and by then you can spend your Berry Points. If we cannot deliver them by then, you get your money back.
Can I get a refund?
A pack is a pre-order, so there are no refunds because you changed your mind. If we cannot deliver what we promised, or you were charged by mistake, you get your money back.
What is the Strawberry client?
Our own Minecraft client. It joins Strawberry servers in one click from the website, gets you in much faster and shows your cosmetics. It comes out for everyone at launch, and plain Minecraft Java works too.
Do I need an account?
Yes, so the rewards reach you. If you are signed in, you pay with your account. If not, you pay with your email address and open your account afterwards with the code we send you.
Where does the money go?
Mostly into servers, so the platform holds when many players arrive at once. The rest pays for development and for telling people about Play Strawberry.
Is Play Strawberry part of Minecraft?
No. Play Strawberry is made by Strawberry Interactive LLC. It is not an official Minecraft product and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft.
Is this an investment?
No. You buy a supporter pack: rewards on Play Strawberry. You get no shares, no profit and no say in the company.
